Terms of Service

1. What this is

Döppelscript is an AI writing tool that learns your voice and generates content in your style. By using Döppelscript, you agree to these terms.

2. Your content

You own everything you write and everything we generate for you. We do not claim ownership of your writing samples, voice profiles, or generated posts. We use your writing samples only to build your voice profile, and the raw samples are deleted from our storage immediately after the profile is built. We do not train AI models on your data, and Anthropic (the provider of the underlying model) does not train its models on API submissions either.

3. Credits

Credits are purchased via one-time payments. Credits never expire. We reserve the right to change credit pack pricing, but purchased credits are always honored at their original value.

Refund policy. You can request a refund for any unused credits within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. Email support@doppelscript.com from the address on your account and the money goes back to the original payment method within a few business days. Credits you have already spent on generations are not refundable by default, because the underlying API cost to generate those posts has already been paid to Anthropic. If a specific generation came out so badly that you believe Döppelscript failed to do its job, email us the generation ID in the same request and we will evaluate it on a case-by-case basis; the default answer is yes.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Döppelscript to generate spam, harassment, hate speech, or content that impersonates a specific individual without their consent. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate this policy.

5. Privacy

We store your email, hashed password (if applicable), voice profiles, and generated content. We do not store your raw writing samples past the brief window required to extract a voice profile; uploaded corpus files are deleted immediately after analysis completes. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as required to provide the service (Anthropic for AI generation, Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for temporary corpus file storage during analysis).

6. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime. The service depends on third-party providers (Anthropic, Stripe, Neon, Cloudflare) and their availability affects ours.

7. If Döppelscript shuts down

If Döppelscript is ever discontinued, you will receive at least 30 days' notice by email before any data is deleted. During that window you will have access to a one-click export of your voice profiles, generation history, and any uploaded files in a machine-readable format. At the end of the 30-day window every database row and every file in storage associated with your account is permanently deleted. This commitment is a written term of service, not a marketing promise; it applies to all accounts regardless of pricing tier.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of Döppelscript after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes via email.
